A wonderful weekend of music ~ November 4th, 5th & 6th 2011
Na Casaidigh
The group are returning to Graiguenamanagh after several years. This concert will be recorded for as part of a documentary on the family for TG4. The programme ,which will be broadcast at Christmas represents a year in the groups life punctuated by concerts and sessions around Ireland. There is a local interest as one member of the group, Seathrun lives in Ballybur, Burnchurch with Neasa and their six children. The evening will be especially poignant due to the loss of their dear friend and colleague Dr Marion Tierney. Our previous visits to Duiske were always enriched by her presence. We will certainly remember and celebrate her rich and wonderful life along with all the people of Graiguenamanagh who will be there.
