The Duiske Concert Series 2008 concludes with the appearance of TREAD on Friday November 28th.

This magical show combines the rich musical and dance traditions of Ireland and Canada with a combination of instrument and dance that thrills audiences with it's vitality, passion and exuberance.

Triona Marshall (harp), Jon Pilatzke (fiddle) and Jef McLarnon (guitar) are joined by fellow Chieftains touring alumni Nathan Pilatzke (Canadian step-dance) and Cara Butler (Irish step-dance), whose incredible, intricate step-dancing will have the audience on its feet.

Add to this the sonorous voice and guitar of Jef McLarnon and you have a show that will live in the memory.

TREAD have already performed numerous tours around Ireland to high acclaim. Their recent performance at the 2007 World Fleadh was described as "(the) 'winner' from five great nights of music.(Tread) really lifted the roof of the Dunamaise Theatre with their mix of elegant harp, fiery fiddle and dancing that had to be seen and heard to be believed"

Earlier this year they recorded their first album 'Live From Matt Molloy's' with the aid of the Irish Arts Council. In December 2008 they will tour Japan with Anuna.
